Both the yang way and the yin way to enlightenment work, but there is one path that works equally well for all people, and that is the path of the Heart. Where brains and hormones may differ, all our hearts function the same way.

There is more to this than simply cutting costs to the bone. Frugal products need to be tough and easy to use. Nokia’s cheapest mobile handsets come equipped with flashlights (because of frequent power cuts), multiple phone books (because they often have several different users), rubberised key pads and menus in several different languages. Frugal does not mean second-rate.

Can living institutions learn to tap into a larger field to guide them toward what is healthy for the whole? What understanding and capacities will this require of people individually and collectively?

I think we are created perfectly, and are always actually complete, but because of the way our mind perceives separation—we focus on fear and negativity and don’t fully  experience our oneness with the divine. Most spiritual paths teach ways to come back into harmony with the experience of oneness.

We are sensitive creatures. And quite telepathic. I have seen people who’ve had other people praying for them, who end up feeling energetically clogged. What’s behind that? Someone doesn’t love and respect your capacity enough that they think you must have their particular kind of divine help, whether you want it or not, and they lay it on you like an energetic wet blanket.
